An API key is a credential that lets SaasPilot call the Claude AI on your behalf, so the cost goes directly to your Anthropic account rather than through us. You can get a key at console.anthropic.com. Sign up, add a payment method, and copy your API key into SaasPilot. It takes about two minutes.

Typically between $0.02 and $0.10 per guide, depending on the tool and how detailed the output is. Anthropic charges by token (roughly, by word). A full SaasPilot guide runs to a few thousand tokens, which puts most guides well under $0.10 at current API pricing. There is no markup from SaasPilot — you pay Anthropic's published rates directly.

Yes. Your account supports both options. You can connect your Anthropic API key for BYOK guides and also purchase Hosted credits when you need them. Use whatever makes sense for each situation — there's no lock-in to either model.

No. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. The free trial costs nothing. BYOK costs only what Anthropic charges for the API calls — that goes to Anthropic, not us. Hosted is a one-off payment per guide. You pay for what you use, when you use it.

Your guide is delivered in your account within roughly 90 seconds. You can read it online, step through it at your own pace, and return to it any time. Guides are saved to your account so you don't lose your place. There's no time limit on access once a guide has been generated.
